Each time of day offers a different mood and quality of light.

Brighter blue skies and a vibrant look while still enjoying the freshness of the morning. A great balance of color and comfort.
SUNSET
Sunset Light

Your photographer may make slight adjustments to your start time to ensure the best lighting conditions.
THE PLACE
Where will our photo session be?
We typically recommend a beautiful beach location near where you're staying, or a spot close to your dining plans if you're heading out after. If you're open to a short drive or exploring another part of the island, we have a list of favorite beaches and hidden gems we're happy to suggest.

THE LOOK
What should we wear for our photo session?
There’s no right or wrong choice when it comes to what to wear—it really comes down to your personal style. Soft colors like whites, blues, and pinks always photograph beautifully against Maui’s beaches, but we’ve also photographed families in everything from vibrant tropical colors to classic all-black outfits.
Rather than matching exactly, we recommend coordinating colors and avoiding large logos or graphics that may distract from your photos.
Since many of our sessions take place on the beach, shoes that are easy to slip on and off are always a great idea, as we'll often be barefoot in the sand. Maui’s trade winds can also make an appearance, so if you're planning to wear a flowy dress or skirt, it's worth keeping the breeze in mind when choosing your outfit.
THE SESSION
How much time should we book?
Session length determines how much we can capture. Shorter sessions are ideal for a focused set of images, while additional time allows for more variety, detail, and a smoother pace throughout. The best choice comes down to how you envision your final image set. Choosing a bit more time often allows every detail and in-between moment to be captured.

THE POLICY
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel your booking, we require at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund. Should weather affect your session, we'll adjust the start time, reschedule, or refund in cases where rescheduling isn't possible.
THE TEAM
Who will our photographer be?
You'll be paired with one of our trusted photographers — part of a handpicked team that's been capturing moments across Maui for over 11 years. Your photographer will personally reach out within 24 hours of your appointment to introduce themselves and ensure you're prepared and excited for your session.

THE PRICE
Are there any extra charges we should expect?
No. There are no additional charges for family size or guests, and we do not charge travel fees across West, South, or Upcountry Maui. Permits are handled by our team at no extra cost.
THE EXTRAS
Can we add florals, prints, or an album?
Yes — we offer a selection of floral enhancements that can be added to any session. Whether you're looking for a simple bouquet, a lei exchange, or a more elaborate floral arrangement, each option is available to select during booking.
For prints and albums, we offer the Shoreline Print Package ($795) and the Tide Album Package ($895), both of which include a full 60-minute session.

THE MEMORIES
When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive your images within 7 days in a private online gallery, ready to view, download, and share.
