Whether you're planning a proposal, a couples session, or gathering the family for a beachside shoot, these are some of the best places to capture the light, mood, and beauty of the island.

1. Ironwoods Beach – Kapalua

Dramatic cliffs and a wide stretch of sand make this location a favorite for couples and proposals. There's a raw elegance here that works beautifully with golden-hour light.

2. DT Fleming Beach – West Maui

Spacious and often less crowded, this beach is ideal for families. You’ll find natural backdrops, greenery, and an expansive shoreline.

3. Paia Secret Beach – North Shore

Tucked between Paia Bay and Baldwin Beach Park, this hidden gem offers a serene and intimate setting that feels effortlessly natural. With golden sand, turquoise water, and fewer crowds, it's a perfect spot for romantic couple sessions or dreamy family portraits.  Baldwin or Paia Bay parking areas leads you to this scenic shoreline that feels worlds away.

4. Kapalua Bay – West Maui

A crescent-shaped beach with palm trees and calm waters. Great for soft, classic sunset shots and easy access.

5. Wailea Beach Path (with Ulua or Polo Beach options)

This area offers beautiful variation—oceanfront paths, lava rock, greenery, and soft sand all in walking distance.
